The Aztec Sun Pendant is based on Anne Hesse's "Mayan Sol" pattern. Anne uses her smaller medallions in her "Mayan Sol" bracelet.
In the last few months I have been working with polymer clay. The center bead is one of my clay beads. The polymer clay bead is surrounded by #11, 8 & 6 seed beads and # 6 triangles.
The basic technique used in the "Aztec Sun" Pendant is the brick stitch. Peyote stitch is used in the loop for top.
