Tila Trellis Bracelet

Trellis  is my take on Holly Hancock's "A Walk in the Park" bracelet pattern. Holly is the owner of BEADS in Oldsmar, FL.  This pattern will be included in Holly's newest book of designs coming out in the very near future.

The Trellis is a fun, lite bracelet to wear. With Tila  Beads in a peyote stitch pattern, topped with a vine of 3 mm & 4 mm Swarovski Crystal Bicones , #15 Japanese seed beads and wrapped up with a silver box magnetic clasp this bracelet goes will with any outfit.

This bluish purple & pink Trellis bracelet measures 7 inches with the clasp and is $45(included postage in USA) or have a custom bracelet woven in your choice of colors and measurement.

Kazuri Bead Earrings

Kazuri in Swahili means “small and beautiful”. The workshop, based near Nairobi, Kenya, produces a wide range of hand-formed and hand-painted ceramic beads. It is a fair-trade organization that primarily hires single mothers to make the beads.

Kazuri produces handmade, hand-painted ceramic beads and jewelry in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa. Each bead is shaped by hand, without the aid of molds or forms, by one of the over 140 local women employed by Kazuri. The beads are then polished and kiln fired, painted and fired again.

Swarovski Patchwork Bracelet

 My Patchwork Bracelet was inspired by Kassie Inman's Quilt Cuff pattern as seen on BEADWORK  Nov 2012 issue's cover
 

The bracelet is built on a RAW base of 3mm bugle beads (Mt Black AB) and #15 Japanese seed beads (opaque burnt sienna).

These two photos show the bracelet during embellishment with:
 3mm Swarovski Bicone Crystals in Topaz AB, Copper, Blue Zircon, Smoky Topaz and Erinite.

Viking Knit Shades of Copper Bracelet

Copper Viking Knit is the base of this bracelet. The knit uses 24 g wire and the accents are lampwork beads, copper toggle clasp & spacer beads from Beads of Tampa. This type of design offers the opportunity for many variations.

I was lucky to have the chance to take  Marcia Balonis' Viking Knit class at "Beads" now located in Oldsmar,  FL. Viking Knit is an ancient form of wire knitting that has been found in Viking grave sites.

Patriotic Flag

This bracelet is one of our all time favorites. This patriotic design is a variation on Gail Devoid's Wavy Flag pattern. Bold  colors of glass seed beads in sizes #11, #8 and #6 are worked in a tubular peyote stitch to form a dramatic spiral.  The clasp is an accent silver Italian Rembrandt Button from Artbeads. The pattern is a varation on Marilyn Aronson's "Confetti Spiral"
